About Me

I’m a freelance journalist and SEO content writer who loves to write personal essays, humorous observation pieces and food/lifestyle articles.

Before becoming a magazine journalist I completed a degree in the History and Philosophy of Science and spent a year training to be a confectioner.

I’ve spent the last few years learning all there is to know about writing web friendly content, the benefits (and pitfalls) of social media and the future of digital platforms. I also have an MA in Journalism and my research was on SEO policies at magazine publishing house Bauer Media.

I’ve written content for beauty retailers, skincare companies and estate agencies to driving schools, laptop rental companies and tanning specialists – all it takes is unique, informative and useful content to shape the future of a website for the better (and I know all the secrets).

I’ve also been published in The Telegraph, Vice, The DebriefIdeasTapMunchiesThe GuardianThe Express TribuneThe Yorkshire Post, Buzzfeed Ideas, Refinery29, Betty Collective, The Pool and The Leeds Guide.
